1. Cut padding to fit inside "skin" pouch.

2. Use additional sheets of padding to simulate obesity.

3. Insert fake blood into pouch if desired.

4. Carefully peel back layer of "skin" pouch and affix upper edge (marked TOP) to hyoid; smoothly press remainder of pouch onto larynx and trachea. Sides should not extend beyond lateral edges of mobile larynx.

5. Use model to practice procedure.

6. Remove pouch carefully off of the model and repeat. Apply Goo Gone or other agent to remove any leftover adhesive. Wash off fake blood by washing with water.
